PANEL. INTEGRATING TECHNOLOGY INTO EVALUATION TO STUDY AND SUPPORT EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT TRAINING IMPACT
Paper: Enhancing Self-Awareness Through 360-Degree Feedback
Presenter: Zita M Unger, PhD, Evaluation Solutions
Web-based multi-rater feedback plays an important role in streamlining and enhancing the process of self-awareness and leadership development. Examples will be drawn from the implementation of leadership development programs for various levels of executives involved in municipal government. The use of the online system for an individual to meta-assess their own progress and the use of combining data across the program to look at impact will be discussed. Meta-evaluation of the 360-degree experience for participants provides insights into a range of cultural, organizational and technical issues. |

WORKSHOP. 360-DEGREE FEEDBACK: ONLINE METHODS AND TECHNIQUES
Facilitator: Zita M Unger, PhD, Evaluation Solutions
360-degree feedback is a powerful multi-dimensional leadership development tool. Feedback is obtained from a range of perspectives across an organisation. The ease of deploying surveys on the web does not mean that organisations are better equipped to implement 360-degree, but it does produce new opportunities and challenges. Through mini-lecture, demonstration, discussion, small group practice and role-play this workshop will introduce participants to conducting effective 360-degree feedback online. |
|
|
DEMONSTRATION. ONLINE 360-DEGREE FEEDBACK: ON TARGET?
Presenter: Zita M Unger, PhD, Evaluation Solutions
The online environment is ideal for seamlessly crossing borders and boundaries. 360-degree feedback, as both a leadership development tool and performance appraisal instrument, intersects the organisational space with a range of cross-cultural, business and technical issues. This interactive demonstration will walk participants through an effective 360-degree feedback process and case study issues of implementation and online success factors. |
